What could possibly go wrong...

I am a Principal Software Engineer at Huawei R&D Edinburgh working on databases of all shapes and forms. We might be hiring, so if you’re interested in databases and working with a great team, send me a message.

Previously, I was Graf Graph at ArangoDB. My projects include planet-scale distributed replication, graph algorithms, and a bit of query languages. We mainly code in C++.

Previously, I had a short stint playing with Rust and C++ at Huawei R&D Edinburgh building the greatest graph database in the world.

Previously, I was playing with distributed graph databases at ArangoDB, mainly in C++, but also developed a prototype core scheme-y language for user modifiable Pregel queries.

Previously, I played with computers and mathematics at the School of Computer Science, University of St Andrews, and I am not even sure I can call those shenanigans a hobby anymore.
