What could possibly go wrong...
Markus Pfeiffer
Hi, I am a mathematician, computer scientist, and software engineer. My main work is in query lanaguages and high performance distributed query execution these days. Most recently I am trying my hands at building and organising software teams.
My past shenanigans include working at Huawei R&D Edinburgh on graph and relational databases, and ArangoDB, a multi-model distributed graph database.
At work, I mainly code in C++, but have solid experience in Rust, Elixir, and, of course Racket and Scheme.
In a previous life, I played with computers and mathematics at the School of Computer Science, University of St Andrews, and I am not even sure I can call those shenanigans a hobby anymore.
